Mark Joslyn
I offer fee-based financial advice. My mission is to financially empower our diverse communities through education, in-depth financial planning and advice.
I’ve been in my hometown Chicago since 1992 after moving from my Missouri roots. Over the years here, I’ve gained a breadth of expertise from serving in the roles of COO, CFO and business owner in the
television production industry. I decided to merge my financial and management skills with my passion for authentic connection with people – providing financial guidance that aligns with
their values and priorities.
Fun facts about myself
Want to know a little more about me? Here are a few fun facts:
- The company I owned produced “My Strange Addiction” on TLC.
- I worked as a stunt man at a theme park.
- I’ve sponsored children in need continuously for 35 years.
- I was inspired by the fee-based financial advisor who helped my husband and me at a pivotal time in our lives a decade ago.
I attended the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with a focus on Finance and Business Management, and I have a BFA in Theatre (“breaking the mold” as a gay man!) from Missouri State University. I am insurance licensed in Illinois. I am a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser with Equity Services Inc. and offer securities in Illinois and other states
across the country.
Our first priority is helping you take care of yourself and your family. We want to learn more about your personal situation, identify your dreams and goals, and understand your tolerance for risk. Long-term relationships that encourage open and honest communication have been the cornerstone of my foundation of success.
